ARTBOX.PROJECT Sabine Oecking

Sabine Oecking was born in 1965 and grew up in Munich, Germany. Art was always part of her life, as her father was a painter, her mother a goldsmith. Since school, Sabine has first painted figurative and later abstract art. After her education and an international career in the IT business she returned to art and especially painting in 2013. Since then she runs her studio in Dortmund, Germany. 2015/2016 she completed a master class with Professor Adam Jankowski. For several years my topic is luck and happiness. I did not want to paint Eve in paradise like some hundred years ago. I have developed my own style with spray paint, ink and sometimes acrylic paints. I want to capture and preserve happy moments, create a positive atmosphere and keep the feeling alive. My work should bring a smile to the face of the viewer. My series ,,Happiness and Life" lives from the organised, sorted and controlled versus the chaotic, organic and unorganized ones. But those two things together give harmony. After real life, I ipresent some ,,imperfectnesses", as someone has a scar that makes that person even more special. Or life drove you into something you never wanted, but it finally turned out to be a real blessing. In these works you can wander around and discover or meditate.
